Things are heating up at today’s City Hall meeting on the future of Sheppard transit, but frankly, a good deal of political fury and name-calling is becoming the norm down there these days. As the meeting got started, it was already clear that Ford and his allies were likely to lose the vote to build subways along Sheppard, so the mayor put in a request to defer the vote (again) in order to bring in more experts to speak to the issue.
