April 13, 2012. Starting in late April, the City of Toronto will be doing watermain valve construction work on the east side of University Avenue, just north of Elm Street. This work is part of the Gerrard Watermain Replacement project, which is necessary to increase capacity and maintain the safety and reliability of the water supply.
